Avery Dennison Clear 2 Mil Poly X Exterior Film
Clear 2 Mil Poly X is Avery Dennison’s exterior film for polycarbonate and acrylic glazing — the plastic panels that scratch, haze and yellow far faster than glass. It is a sacrificial, replaceable surface layer. Wholesale through Quest One.
Why installers choose it
Built for plastic glazing
Polycarbonate and acrylic, not glass.
Sacrificial surface
Replace the film, not the panel.

Goes on the weather side.

Specifications
Straight with you: Avery Dennison’s published link for this datasheet is currently returning a 404, and we will not publish performance numbers we cannot verify against a live source. Call us and we will get the current sheet from our Avery rep.
| Product line | Exterior Poly Film (Avery Dennison) |
| Installation surface | Exterior — polycarbonate and acrylic glazing |
| Film thickness | 2 mil |
| Total solar energy rejected | Not currently published by Avery — contact us and we will confirm from the source sheet. |
| Visible light transmission | Not currently published by Avery — contact us and we will confirm from the source sheet. |
| UV rejection | Not currently published by Avery — contact us and we will confirm from the source sheet. |
| Glass compatibility | This is a film for plastic glazing, not glass. It is not listed on Avery Dennison’s architectural Film-to-Glass chart, which covers glass only. Polycarbonate and acrylic expand and outgas differently from glass — follow Avery’s instructional bulletin for plastic substrates and confirm with us before installing. See the full Avery Dennison Film-to-Glass chart → Always confirm the glazing against Avery Dennison’s official FTG chart before installing. |
| Warranty | Exterior films are warranted by mounting angle, not residential vs. commercial. Poly X: 3 years — vertical glazing | 2 years — horizontal or sloped glazing (Avery Dennison, North America). |

Common questions
Why is there no performance data on this page?
Because Avery’s own datasheet link for it is currently dead (404). Rather than copy numbers from a stale cache or guess, we would rather tell you that plainly and get you the real sheet. Call (866) 783-7814.
Can I use a regular window film on polycarbonate?
No. Plastic glazing outgasses and moves with temperature in ways glass does not, which is why Avery makes a dedicated poly film. Putting a standard glass film on polycarbonate leads to bubbling and adhesion failure.
